Q: i already have the iso, do i have to back it up again with xbc 0350?
A: hard question to answer. let me explain. if you can, its recommended. but if not, just patch and burn.


Q: what steps should i do when patching ____  game?
A: before patching any game, make another folder and copy .iso to that folder. if you patch and burn and it still doesn't work at-least you have that .iso backed up saving you from re-reading it.

Q: i read that if you dont use ihas lite-on burners and verbatium disk, you will get no support and will be ignored. but their is firmware for using verbatiums and memorex, what gives?
A: yes. they would perfer everyone to use ihas burners and verbs (very cheap if you care about your 360 console), but they know some will be very cheap, and flood the forum with posts like "when will memorex disk be supported". so they provided memorex capabilities , but only with ihas burners. you may still be ignored because your not following the recommended way: ihas burner with verbs.

Q: when backing up _____ game it takes hours. am i doing something wrong?
A: no. each time you launch xbc 0350, go to options, look under "read", and uncheck "process ap2.5"
 checking this will add an hour to the reading process, and is only used when topology data is being collected for development purposes.

Q: i have _____ game, and it says "patch not available yet". what are my options?
A: glad you asked that. according to everything Ive read, they perfer you to use the "official patches they release" but dont want to discourage users from obtaining there own topology data. phat liteon dvd drives with a good laser is the best to use.  lets say you have the original assassin's creed: brotherhood disk.  insert disk, click drive tools, click ap25 button, it will extract the ap25 data. patch iso using image tool, select inject, select iso, then select ap25 data that you extracted earlier.
