So has anyone had luck after returning a faulty usb probe? What i mean is did this fix your problems?  Cause i have the same issues right now and they are making me crazy!

Hi, you cannot program it using the spi adapter.

You need either this:

Hi, just received my coolrunner in the post and have just read my xbox  slims nand when i noticed i still had to program my glitch chip, im jst wondering is this possible with my 360 usb spi i bought from here as if not ill have to wait another week or two to do the reset hack on my slim,

after seeing your post, i tried mine too probing r707 and kept getting same result. i also tried different tray open positions to, and nothing worked for me. i finally decided to use the PMT probe (already had ck3 v.3), and worked first time. like i said, i tried my version 7 seria probe & followed tut exactly & couldnt get to work either.

pmt probe works & you dont have to install anything. very very easy to use. if you lived near me i would help you out for free.

Ok i finally got back to this thing, I bought the via card like you said, i have followed all the steps, used jungle flasher 1.79, 1.67, and 1.91 but i cannot seem to extract the key!  Im probing R707 on the bottom pad but nothing is happening i get "Warning Serial Data bad"  Its like the prob isn't working?  Am i missing something?  To make sure we are on the same page, im trying to pull the key off of a lite on 74850c so that i can replace it with a samsung drive, to eliminate disk read errors!   Please help i play 5 mins and it shuts off!

yes it will. but the easiest & fastest way is to buy our ck3/pmt probe combo, and extract dummy.bin using the pmt probe, then just erase & write LT firmware. no cuts,soldering, etc.

there are thousands of tutorials (written & video) on the internet. if you have a phat console, i would find out what motherboard i have, and what dashboard im running.  depending on the motherboard & dashboard your console may/may not be jtag'able.

as for slim xbox 360 (its called RGH) Reset Glich Hack, but pretty much same as Jtag. see my post here to determine if your 360 slim is RGH'able.

my advice is to research,and learn everything you can about your system,motherboard,dashboard your using, and post Questions about the parts you dont understand. worst case: pay someone to do it for you. (if not done correctly, you'll end up with a $300 dvd/music player!)
