If you would like to use it as a USB hub with wired network, move the power jumper to 2-3, remove plugs from uplink 2 and run a USB A to A male cable from uplink 1 to the host, then you are down.

If you need more power for both scenarios, remove power jumper from header 6, then connect a 5V power to pin 2 (middle) of header 6, and GND to pin 4 of header 5, then you are all set.

This manual helps you to connect Raspberry Pi Zero to TIAO Raspberry Pi Zero Buddy purchased from http://www.diygadget.com.

This is the board layout:

  3. USB downlink 2
  4. USB downlink 3

  6. USB uplink 2 (Can only use uplink 1 or 2, but cannot use both)

Up link selection

This board can be used with a raspberry Pi zero to expand Pi zero to have 3 more USB port and a wired network connection. It can also be used as a USB hub with wired network connection.
