have you un-installed the via drivers?
also when you power cycle, don't use the C4 main on/off switch, but use the Probe power switch.

maybe you should explain in detail the steps your taking to flash your drive.

ok i'll say it again, remove the via drivers!!!
For use of the VIA Cards in Windows 7 it is recommended to uninstall the VIA driver. This can be
done like follows:
- start "Device Manager" > expand "Storage controllers" > right click on "VIA RAID Controller" >
choose "Uninstall" > "OK"
- rename C:\Windows\inf\vsmraid.inf to vsmraid.inf_
- rename C:\Windows\inf\vsmraid.PNF to vsmraid.PNF_
- rename C:\Windows\System32\drivers\vsmraid.sys to vsmraid.sys_
- reboot computer

i also flashed my drive with a xp pc and had to remove the drivers!
if you don't try it you'll never know

I ve got the dvdkey ;D but the pc freeze and i just got the dummy.bin
So my lite on is briked
with dosflah and l-o-erase i ve make it back to life and flash again with LT3 ,but my xbox is green flashing and eject does'nt work.
what can i do

did you remove the via drivers?
1b.Windows XP owners must right click "My Computer", click Hardware tab then go into Device Manager.
2. Disable your VIA card under "Storage controllers".
3. Go to C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers and remove "viamraid.sys" or "vsmraid.sys".
4. Re-Enable VIA card in Device Manager.
5. Re-Boot PC.
sound like a bad flash. try flashing it again, Liteons are easy bricked but also easy to unbrick.

yes via drivers are remove and i flash many times but always xbox is greeflashing.
i always must erase my liteon before flashing , without this is doesn't work
i try an old ms25 and put my dvdkey in
xbox is great an eject ok but i ve "disc unreadable"

The V4 is not documented yet. I was told it works by the seller so bought one. My current problem which I have a thread open for is how to get the probe recognized as a com port.

Just to reply, I did get the V4 to work. Basically, you don't need to care about the serial port and USB. What I did for a liteon was click on phatkey, then click on yes - power off the probe, put the probe on mpx102, then power on the proble and when I saw 0x52 remove it and follow the rest of the instructions. No need to use tray half open or anything like that. Also never power off the CK4 - no need to do that.
Worked great in the end.
