I was playing Ikaruga today on my GameCube and all of a sudden the game froze. And it was bad. The music track kept playing, but the sound effect that had been playing got stuck at the same point, so there was a humming/buzzing sound. The system was locked up so completely that pressing the Reset button did nothing. I actually had to turn off the power and turn it back on to get things working again. It's a good thing I was only in Chapter 1. I would have been so very mad had this happened way at the end of the game. Because I'm not that good at it yet. By the way, I'm not talking about when your 15-year-old NES cartridges don't work; I want to hear about honest-to-goodness game crashes. I'll also entertain weird bugs that slipped through, too. And how/why is it that console games seem to have less bugs than PC games?
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
